543 Fuškulin wine route

The trail begins with a short walk through the village (approx. 500 m), continuing along a wide gravel road through fields that gradually merge with the edges of a dense forest. This section offers beautiful views of vineyards and fertile valleys typical of the Poreč region.

Entering the forest, the trail climbs gently toward Stancija Bečić Trail Center, a favorite meeting point for local cyclists who have arranged a series of uphill and downhill trails in this area. The hiking route circles the hills of Muliganac and Šansar, partially following bike trails, offering a dynamic mix of quiet woodland, short climbs and shaded pine passages.

The route then leads back toward Fuškulin, completing a pleasant, easy circular hike in a natural environment with gentle slopes, ideal for recreational walkers and families.

As there are no refreshment stops on the trail, bringing water and a light snack is recommended. After the walk, it is definitely worth visiting the nearby Damjanić Winery, one of the most respected in the area of Poreč, renowned for superb Istrian wines and warm hospitality.
