This circular trail that leads from Rovinj's Pignaton square, around the old town centre to the local market place and continues in the direction of Rovinjsko Selo, passing alongside the Church of St. Thomas and the Haber Horse Club, is intended as a day trip or a half-day’s run.The church of the same name is situated at the foot of the hill of St. Thomas, in the northeast of Rovinj, not far from the old Rovinj - Kanfanar railway line. Built at the end of the 8th or early 9th century, it represents the type of church architecture of the Carolingian period in Istria.Through the Kokuletovica settlement, the trail turns back to Rovinj, and to the protected Punta Corrente Park Forest. You will get back to your starting point, Pignaton Square, along the walking trail with a view over the old town centre, which is the most photogenic vista of Rovinj.
